He/ Him
Nico Giannoulis is a multidisciplinary artist and writer based in London whose practice navigates the charged space where sexuality and divinity converge. Working across drawing, ceramics, photography, and text, he employs chiaroscuro as both visual language and conceptual lens, using light and shadow to examine binaries such as the sacred and the profane, vulnerability and power, intimacy and transcendence.
Central to his work is the representation of the male body and queer desire, approached through mythology, poetry, and historical research. Giannoulis creates tactile, contemplative pieces that invite viewers to reflect on spirituality, identity, and the politics of visibility—revealing how queer narratives can be both deeply personal and universally resonant.
