Not a trend. Not a category.
A living culture.

Queer artists have always shaped visual culture. Too often, their work is reduced to a label, separated from its context or left outside traditional institutions. We are building a dedicated space where the work can be encountered seriously, openly and on its own terms.

Visibility with context.
Community with agency.

We create space for queer artists to be seen, understood and connected without asking them to flatten who they are.

Queer Art publishes artworks alongside the voices and practices behind them. We connect artists with audiences, support dialogue across the community and develop tools that give artists more control over how their work lives online.

Every artwork submitted through our artist platform is reviewed before publication. This keeps the gallery coherent and considered while preserving the artist’s authorship.

Our values are practical.

01

Visibility

We make queer creative work easier to find, explore and remember.

02

Context

We present art with the ideas, identities and lived experiences that shape it.

03

Community

We build connections between artists, audiences and queer cultural networks.

04

Artist agency

Artists can manage their presence, submit new work and choose how they participate.

Discover. Connect. Take part.

Built from queer media,
made for queer art.

Queer Art grew from the cultural and community work of the Queer Media Association. We saw the need for a focused online gallery where LGBTQ+ artists could present their work beyond fleeting social feeds and where audiences could encounter queer creativity with greater depth.

The platform continues to evolve with its artists: part gallery, part publishing space and part community infrastructure.
