Rana Cleta

She/ Her

Ana Giles (Lima, 1993), also known as Rana Cleta, is a Peruvian interdisciplinary artist working at the intersection of poetry, photography, and cultural translation. Inspired by urban Lima and her travels through different cities, her practice explores how identity is shaped by territory, memory, and language.

Viewing the city as a living organism and the written word as a space of resonance, Giles bridges the intimate and the social. Her photographic work—focused on everyday life and fleeting urban moments—has been exhibited in Lima and Quito, where it has been recognized for its visual sensitivity and emotional subtlety. Through image and text, she invites viewers to reflect on the unseen layers of belonging and experience.
