He / Him
Raül Santín is a Barcelona-based photographer whose practice approaches the body through shape, colour and light. Rather than smoothing or concealing its textures, his images allow skin, shadow and movement to remain visible, treating the camera as a space for closeness rather than direction.
At the centre of his work is theirs, an ongoing, open-ended project in which technical display gives way to attention. Working with dancers, musicians, performers and other body-led artists, Santín photographs moments as they unfold, moving quietly behind the lens so gestures can retain their vulnerability and sensuality. His practice extends into fashion and music, where collaboration becomes a way of questioning visibility, intimacy and how bodies are seen.
