He/ Him
Andrea Semeghini is an Italian artist from Milan whose lifelong connection to drawing and painting led him to work in fashion as a painter and illustrator, developing an intimate and sensual visual language. In 2017 he founded VANADIO23, a natural extension of his ongoing exploration of the body—its forms, encounters, and the tensions that arise between them. His work focuses on moments when bodies touch, seek, and merge, dissolving the boundaries between self and other, and treating sex and eroticism as spaces of freedom and knowledge.
Through drawings, illustrations, ceramics, and design objects, he creates a universe free of taboos, where sexuality, identity, and play intertwine with irony and tenderness. His art portrays sex as a fully human experience—physical, emotional, curious, and vulnerable. VANADIO23 becomes an invitation to look, to desire, and to recognize oneself without fear, where eroticism turns into art and art becomes a way to liberate the body and rediscover pleasure.
