Kidult Luggage
Kidult Luggage takes the form of a suitcase-archive, turning travel into a metaphor for identity, memory and becoming. Filled with fragments of Soviet aesthetics, pop-cultural references and personal imagery, the work suggests that the self is always in motion, shaped by what it chooses to carry forward. Childhood is not left behind but consciously packed into adult life as emotional baggage, cultural inheritance and creative resource. Through this layered collage, the artist explores nostalgia, transformation and the ongoing journey of constructing the “Kidult” self.
