Based in Amsterdam, McQueer Studio approaches queer identity as both subject and material. Moving across acrylic painting, sculpture, objects and image-making, the studio reworks familiar codes of desire, status and belonging into bold, sharply observed visual statements. Its practice resists normative expectations while affirming the complexity, humour and self-determined visibility of queer life.
