BREAK – DRAW SERIES

DRAW is a three-part linocut series by Spanish gay artist ego andaluz, rooted in his experience of coming out at 30. It does not recount the events that followed or turn them into a story of fear overcome. Instead, the series returns to the period before the outcome was known, when concealment had become unbearable but visibility still felt dangerous.

The series unfolds through three images: Break, Contested and Reach.
