Empty Box 1

Empty Box 1 combines a cast body, a geometric enclosure and a harness into a stark meditation on containment. The inverted figure appears physically present yet denied a face, its identity displaced by the vacant frame above it. By pairing bodily vulnerability with the discipline of the harness, the assemblage explores how desire can be shaped by systems of control, display and expectation. Absence becomes an active space: a place onto which identity is projected.
