Dario Mohr

He/ Him

Dario Mohr is a New York City–based interdisciplinary artist, curator, and non-profit leader. His practice centres on reverent installations shaped as altars, alongside sculptural objects informed by occult symbolism, memory, ancestry, and ritual.

Mohr has presented solo and public works at venues including the Jacob Javits Center, Wave Hill, Brooklyn Children’s Museum, St. Nicholas Park, Old Stone House, and Tafaria Castle in Kenya. Many of these projects are activated through his Happy Planting Day seed-paper workshops and planting performances, which honour ancestors by bringing new life into the world.
