Left / Right
Left / Right brings two companion works into dialogue. Seated figures face opposing directions while looping arrows fill their dark grounds and extend beyond the canvas. Together, the pair turns orientation into a psychological and social question: movement is possible, but no route is neutral or final. The manipulated surfaces collapse the boundary between painting and sculpture, tracing how queer identity develops through choice, contradiction and repeated acts of self-positioning.
