Empty Box 3
Empty Box 3 reduces the body to a sculptural torso held between two architectural frames. A projected animation occupies the lower opening, introducing light and movement into an otherwise pale, static structure. The work turns absence into a living surface: what appears empty becomes charged with shifting images and possible selves. By separating body, head and image, Mohr questions where identity resides and how it is constructed through looking.
