Rock Bottom presents a dense field of intertwined bodies caught between struggle, intimacy, collapse, and support. Dario Mohr constructs the scene as a collective descent, where individual figures become part of a shifting mass and the boundary between conflict and connection remains deliberately unstable.
The dark, cavernous setting and restricted palette create a sense of psychological and physical pressure. Yet the bodies do not simply fall: they hold, carry, resist, and climb over one another. The work reflects on vulnerability at its most extreme, asking whether reaching the bottom can also become the beginning of transformation.
