Accessible Pride
Accessible Pride challenges the exclusion of disabled people from LGBTQIA+ events, spaces and public life. Created as part of an imagined campaign for Barcelona Pride, the illustration places a queer wheelchair user at the centre as a visible and self-assured protagonist. Its direct message asks whether Pride can truly represent the whole community when physical, social and cultural barriers remain. Through a clear and playful visual language, the work presents accessibility not as an optional accommodation, but as an essential condition of intersectional queer liberation.
