L’Offrande

L’Offrande (The Offering) centres on an act of voluntary exposure: the figure gives himself to the gaze while remaining answerable to his own interior life. Body and emotion are offered together, turning vulnerability into an active exchange rather than a passive condition.

As the central image in a three-part narrative, the work holds gratitude and reciprocity in tension. Tejeda treats the male body as both gift and witness—a space where intimacy can be given, received and returned without surrendering agency.
